Our project is designed to foster a love of reading. Growing up, I did not have access to books. Money was scarce and it definitely was not spent on books. Once a week, the book mobile came to my school. At first, it was an excuse to get out of class but my teacher made us write a quick summary in order to go back. By the third week I was hooked and began looking forward to the Book Mobile visits. The love for reading began just because I had access to books. That's what I want to give my students freedom and access to read. We plan on using the Kindle E-Readers to give the students access to hundreds of books.
