  • Struggling Readers Empowered by Assistive Technology

    Our students in grades 10 and 11 would like to express their great appreciation for your generous donation to our school. The assistive technology of audio readers has helped our students to decode words with the tool. Students have used the device for all subjects from English to science, social studies, and even mathematics.

    It is our hope that this year students will continue to use the audio readers to improve upon their learning experiences and develop a greater understanding of the content that they are studying with the support of an audio reader.

    Our class of 10th grade Global Studies students would like to express our great appreciation for your generous donation to our school. The Audio microphones and headsets have helped our students to develop audio interpretations of past historical events. We created multi-media podcast projects to enable our students to interpret history from another perspective and help to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the world in which we live.

    It is our hope that students will continue to create podcasts for Global Studies to enhance their learning experiences and develop a greater appreciation of the world. Instead of passively learning, students had a chance to actively reinterpret the past and paint it with their voices.
