Having a classroom set of "How to Read Like a Professor" will enable my students to study literature at a new level. They will learn to recognize literary devices and find a deeper meaning of multiple works. Throughout this study, the entire year, and in years to come, students will put into practice strategies that will help them improve classroom discussion, test-taking skills, and writing. Learning to read well and recognize the deeper meaning of an author's work will give student's power to grow as readers and writers. *The title is in quotes as italics and underlining is not available*
