    We do a lot of small group learning, and the easel is the perfect addition to our class, for that reason. It helps me provide visual learning and gets students actively engaged in my lessons!

  • Small Group Learning, Big Impact!

    This table has been an amazing addition to our classroom. It is so useful to my students and I for many reasons. Small group work takes place so much more with the help of this table. Students feel comfortable and excited to come work at the table with the teacher. I can assess students on a more ongoing basis now that I have the table and space to do so.

    When my students first saw the table they were so excited! They knew how much it meant to me to get this project funded. Every student in the class can't wait for it to be their turn to work at the table.

    My next steps are to get funding that will provide my students with a new leveled library as well as a color printer to promote project based learning in the classroom. I'm looking forward to my future projects to come, and can't thank donors choose and my donors, enough.”

My students learn in a collaborative integrated co-teaching environment. With two teachers in the classroom, we do a lot of small group work, and flexible seating. Flexible seating gives students the freedom to move around and not stay in their seat for extended periods of time. They're able to focus and remain engaged throughout lessons when given different seating options. I am requesting a small group learning table, that is specifically designed for effective small group teaching. With this table, I will be able to reach more kids in an organized, comfortable seating arrangement. When we work in small groups, often times, we sit on the carpet, or at a small table without adequate space. Having a small group learning table, would arrange the students in a way that would allow me to reach them all at once, and gather data more effectively.
