  • Basic Kinder Classroom Supplies

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

Donors like you make our jobs so much easier. Funding for everyday objects, that we use in the classroom, usually comes from our own pockets. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have a partnership with donors to help alleviate the financial burden to give our students what they need to be successful.

Kindergarten is all about repetition. The sheet protectors allow us to use and reuse activities for math, sight words, and reading. The ability to erase and start over allows for students to fix mistakes and try again.

We appreciate the continued help and support that you extend to education. With partners like you we hope to build the brightest future possible for our leaders of tomorrow.”

  • Morning Message Motivation

    Funded Apr 8, 2022

Thank you for your continued support of our classrooms. Your help in funding education allows us as teachers to provide our students with the best learning environment we can. Your donation to my project "Morning Message Motivation" these resources provide a place in my classroom for students to work with teacher guided instruction.

Morning messages are where we practice writing sentences and learning vocabulary. I also use our morning messages as a way to identify parts of a story. Story boards are a great resource for students to learn parts of a story and work on comprehension.

This is a small example of how I try to use the resources we are donated. I again thank you for your steadfast support of my classroom as well as hundreds of other educators. Your donations as well as your messages of support mean the world to us.”

  • Quiet Corner

    Funded Apr 3, 2022

Thank you for your continued support of our classrooms. Your help in funding education allows us as teachers to provide our students with the best learning environment we can. Your donation to my project "Quiet Corner" creates a place in my classroom for students to learn how to communicate and understand their emotions.

The Quiet Corner has tools like stress balls in 3 different strengths. When they reach the quiet corner they start of with the red ball, the strongest, and as they feel the anger, frustration, or anxiety melting they move to the green ball. When they are feeling calmer we do a teacher check in with the last blue ball.

This is a small example of how I try to use the resources we are donated. I again thank you for your steadfast support of my classroom as well as hundreds of other educators. Your donations as well as your messages of support mean the world to us.”

With all the students in individual desks, as opposed to large tables, our rooms are crowded. The chair organizers allow for students to organize electronics and other learning materials without taking any additional space in the classroom that we don't have. The ability to organize and create a more cleanly environment without clutter will help to alleviate stress for many of my students. If this project were to be funded it would provide my kindergartners with the tools to work through big emotions. Not being able to be around kids or other people through the pandemic has made it hard for them to digest big emotions. Many of my students struggle with how to play with others and even being away from mom and dad for so long. Materials such as stress balls, fidget spinners, and pop it's, and sensory toys are all tools that I would use in my quiet corner to help calm down big feelings and allow a moment for them to take a deep breathe and find words to explain how they are feeling.
