Throughout the class period, we transition between whole group learning to small cooperative group, then to independent work. To meet the needs of my diverse learners, I would like to expand their choice in seating. Flexible seating will allow them to choose their work space and wiggle while they learn! I have requested 5 wiggle seats which students can choose to use on their chairs or on the floor to make learning more comfortable. The seats are inflatable to allow for easy storage. I also plan to add 10 stackable stools for students to use during small cooperative group work that will allow for more focused student discourse. The stools can also be used with the wriggle seat for students who work better at a tables instead of desks.
