I cannot believe my fourth graders have been fully remote for over a year! As we transition from fully remote to hybrid soon, it would be great to have a second screen to help the Roomers (students returning hybrid) connect with the Zoomers (students remaining remote) in order to maintain our sense of community. Even though we are transitioning to hybrid learning, about half of the students will be remaining fully remote, and I would like all of the students to feel connected. By having a second screen, the in-person students would be able to see and interact with their classmates who are learning from home. The second screen will also help me to interact in more meaningful ways with my students. I often cannot see all of them on my screen when I have to minimize my Zoom in order to share activities or look at lesson plans.
