Supplies Supplies Oh My!
Funded Sep 11, 2023I want to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support as we embarked on a new school year. Your kindness in providing the much-needed supplies for our special education classroom was truly heartwarming.
With your contributions, you helped create a nurturing learning space that positively impacted the academic growth of my students. The generosity shown in fully funding our classroom was s appreciated, and I am confident that it made a significant difference in their educational journey.
Your donations, including the essential learning equipment and tools, played a pivotal role in transforming our learning environment. I am particularly grateful for the projector, which opened new possibilities for engaging educational experiences, such as interactive games and visualizing lessons. This addition undoubtedly contributed to a more effective and dynamic learning environment for my students with learning disabilities.
As I continued to grow professionally, the resources you provided, such as the desk calendar and file organizers, assisted me in improving my organizational skills. These tools were invaluable in helping me manage my responsibilities as a special education teacher, and your support in this regard was truly appreciated.
The various classroom supplies, from student dividers to colorful masking tape and scissors, were instrumental in optimizing our academic time. Your thoughtful contribution ensured that we could make the most of our learning opportunities, and I am grateful for your commitment to enhancing the educational experience for these students.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and support. It was through individuals like you that we could create a positive and enriching learning environment for our students.”

Funded Sep 20, 2022We have been having so much fun with our new classroom materials! My students enjoy playing with all the new phonics games that this project funded. The phonics games have helped my dyslexia groups flourish all while being able to have fun. Their favorite game is "Snap It Up!". The dry erase multiplication chart has also been a big hit with my students during workstations. They enjoy using it and feeling like a teacher. The dry erase boards and laminated multiplication charts have also given my students the ability to practice independently and memorize their multiplication facts. Our table spots also play a big part in our classroom because my students enjoy "writing" on the table with expo markers which makes them more willing to show their work.
My students were so happy and thankful to have new materials. Many students had remembered our old materials and how they were falling apart or not working. We use our new materials on a daily basis and students are proud to take care of them.
My students and I are going to continue to bridge their learning gaps, increase their success and build their confidence. As a special education resource teacher, it is very important to me to make sure all my students are able to learn in a fun, organized, and safe environment. All the contributions to my project have exceeded our expectations!”

Funded May 14, 2019Thank you for donating all of the supplies to our classroom! Our classroom is more organized than ever!
Our shoe bins have been being used for things such as task boxes. We have put small, little activities in these shoe boxes for the students to complete as well as using them for hygiene bins where all the students can store their toothbrushes, deodorant and other items. Each student also receives a shoe box to keep their extra set of clothing in case of accidents.
We have been using the file folder bins and clear plastic boxes to separate worksheets, materials and manipulatives out to make them easily available when needed. These supplies have helped make sure we are using our academic time to its fullest potential instead of having to find worksheets and materials.
Lastly, our new academic toys and resources for our students have been a hit in the classroom! The kinetic sand, magnetic letters, sight word activity games and vocational toys have help our students progress!”

Funded Feb 9, 2019Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your donations! All of our items have been funded and found a wonderful home in our classroom.
Our yoga balls were a HUGE hit at our drawing station. The students are able to have flexible seating when creating their master pieces. Bouncing up and down allows for them to release their energy! The big pencils and pencil grips have helped many of our students learn proper handwriting grip and now our students are showing emerging signs of writing legibly. Potty training has never been easier now that we have a toilet seat to support areas like gross motor skills that are used for potty training. We are making great progress! Lastly that students have had a wonderful time using their imaginations to create awesome structures with our gears and magnet tiles!
Again thank you for all our love and support for (SPED)tacular Resources!”
