My students need flexible seating to help them become better learners. I know that students are motivated by choice and by giving them the choice of seating such as: balance boards, stability balls, and laptop/writing tables students will be more motivated to learn. Learning in a classroom is a challenge for young children. Regular desk and chairs do not meet all of their academic and physical needs. Different seating/standing options helps them be more comfortable in their learning environment. By being more comfortable it helps students achieve greater success in all academic areas. Moving students' focus away from comfort to content.
