Virtual reality is a technology that can create new and exciting learning opportunities for students. Sometimes it can be hard for students to truly grasp and engage with events that happened hundreds of years ago. With VR headsets, students are able to travel into the past and experience the things that they had only been able to read about. From revolutions to civil rights, students will be able to obtain a unique perspective of these major historical events. These headsets will allow students to experience important historical moments as if they are actually there. Many of our students have never been given the opportunity to travel and explore all that is out there. By creating a new way for students to engage with history, they will have a better understanding of how the events of our past will help shape our future.
