Kindergarten Reads
Funded Oct 25, 2023Thank you so much for all the resources that help us practice our sight word recognition and spelling. The children mostly use the resources in reading centers and intervention time to practice making words and reading them. When children are not using the materials and see others are, they ask if they can join in and "play".
The kids were overjoyed with the new materials. They ask for them daily. The students love the sand, play-doh and new magnetic letters! They have fun showing ofd their reading skills and working hard to improve their learning goals.”

Flexible Seating Choices for Third Grade Students
Funded Aug 15, 2016Dear Donors,
Thank you again for your generous donations! The children LOVE the flexible seating options this year. Everyday, students can choose to sit at a desk chair that has a bouncy band, lay on the floor on a yoga mat, wobble while working at a Hokki stool, or work low to the ground on a back jack chair. The Hokki stools are the most popular and the students do a great job sharing the seats so everyone has a chance to use them.
The first week of school, I told the students how our classroom would be different than (probably) their classrooms in the past. I explained the different seating options and how they would be used. Each time a box arrived in the mail, they couldn't wait to see what was delivered. Of course, they all wanted to try everything as soon as new items came in!
The children are appreciative each day that they get to use these new resources. The project allows them more choice where to work and learn. This whole project wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the donors. This was a costly project and I am so grateful for each and every penny you spent on us.”
With gratitude,
