We try to offer as many opportunities to our students as we can, and your support makes it possible for us to continue to do this. Funded Aug 16, 2019Get Your Teach On was an OUT of this world educational experience. it was more than just professional development. Attending this conference let me feeling empowered and ready to go back and provided amazing educational experiences to my students.
The highlight of the event was meeting with some of the nations leading educational innovators. During the sessions, the equipped us with activities that we can use to increase student engagement while increasing academic rigor.
An example of activities we learned was Glow Games. Glow game is a hands-on, activity that challenges students to read closely. It increases their reading comprehension skills to help them understand the text in a fun, interactive way.
My biggest takeaway was "the magic". Surrounded by a room full of amazing educators, I left the conference feeling renewed. It pushed me to step outside my norm and find ways to create life-changing experiences for my scholars. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to experience this. I can't wait to go back!.”

Funded Dec 1, 2015We are sending this letter as an expression of gratitude for your donations. The printer and lamination machine are used daily to assist with instruction. The children love having unlimited access to hands on materials to reinforce skills. The math center and reading center is filled with activities that we are now able to laminate to preserve. We are using the materials for all subjects. Our color printer allowed us to print beautiful pictures to add to our informational books on Early Asian Civilizations.
Many times we were forced to eliminate necessary materials due paper shortage at the school or broken printers. Lamination was a service that was becoming very costly as well. As the teacher of this class, I can't express how much these donations have contributed to my classroom. The idea that I can make materials without restriction is really motivating. My students are increasing in reading because of the material I can make and the math center printables have helped close achievement gaps.
Without your generous donations, we would not be able to create meaningful materials for my students that are necessary to meet their various needs.”

Ms. Williams
