Let’s Get Down to Business!
Funded Aug 21, 2024I cannot express enough how grateful we are for your generosity in supporting our classroom through DonorsChoose. Thanks to your donation, my business and entrepreneurship students at Mater Academy were able to complete projects that truly expanded their minds and helped them understand the complexities of the business world.
The materials you provided, such as business plan templates, marketing tools, and research supplies, allowed my students to dive into real-world projects like never before. They eagerly worked on creating business plans, conducted market research, and participated in simulated business scenarios, which brought the concepts we discuss in class to life. Watching them use the supplies you helped provide was inspiring—they took ownership of their learning, collaborated with their peers, and came up with creative ideas that reflect the innovative spirit I want to foster in them.
One memorable moment was when we used the marketing materials you helped fund to run a mock marketing campaign. Students created slogans, logos, and advertisements for their mock businesses. Their faces lit up with excitement as they presented their ideas, and I could see the confidence growing with each project. One student, in particular, who was initially shy about presenting, developed an entire marketing strategy that left his classmates and me in awe. This wouldn't have been possible without your support.
Your contribution didn't just provide supplies—it provided moments of learning, creativity, and growth that will stay with these students long after they leave my classroom. I am sincerely thankful for your investment in their futures and in our school.
From all of us here at Mater Academy, thank you for believing in our students and for making this project possible. Your kindness is making a lasting impact on their education and their future endeavors in the world of business and entrepreneurship.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Coralia Quiocho
