• Storytelling and Letter Pros

  This project has been such a hit this year! We have used our story telling supplies weekly and show no signs of slowing down. Students get to use the storytelling center at least twice a weeks and it is truly a crowd favorite!

  Students love creating stories from scratch. They have really been developing their oral story telling abilities and having the hands on tools to accompany that has just been the icing on the cake. They have even been using this time to retell popular stories that we read in class.

• Small Group, Big Success

  Thank you so much for supporting my students and their learning! Kindergarten is filled with exploration of materials and learning modalities. Having access to a variety of resources is crucial.

  Small group time is when we target each students specific needs. These tools help meet all those needs in a fun engaging way. To them, much of our learning time feels like play. And magnetic letters are always the biggest hit! We can do so much with them while we are developing important foundational skills that will follow them throughout their educational career. • Young Bookworms

  Funded May 7, 2024

  Thank you so much for helping me grow my classroom library. You have given my students access to new books across so many different genres. When I brought out the new book bins filled, they were ecstatic! They couldn't wait for reading time to begin exploring.

  For many students, kindergarten is their first real chance to discover and develop their love of reading. Having an up to date and diverse library is crucial for the students. These books will be loved by students for many years to come. I am so appreciative of your support!”

• Kinder Builders

  Funded Jan 17, 2024

  These building/ engineering tools have been such a fun addition to our classroom. As we opened the boxes together, there was a collective roar of excitement.

  We have been spending time building and creating with freedom. The students have made bridges, towers, marble tracks, and pretend food items. They ask for pictures to be sent to their adults daily! They are so proud when they finish creating.

  We have tied in writing as well. Student can share details bout their creations and even teach others how to build it. These hands on supplies have really given my students a spark of joy!”

• Alphabet Galore

  Thank you so much for supporting this project. My students have absolutely been loving incorporating these alphabet manipulatives into our daily literacy centers. Often times they are even used during free choice! Students use the play-doh stampers to build new words, classmates names, and even to make patterns.

  These hands on tools have really helped my students strengthen their letter knowledge in a fun and engaging way. They were the perfect addition to our classroom for my young scholars. Playing and learning all in one!

  This is truly one of the most beneficial projects to get funded. You have allowed me to have the tools and equipment I need to prepare... everything that we use in class. These expenses add up but your help does not go unnoticed or unappreciated!

  Every time I introduce a new center, or work with a new small group, their faces light up when they see a new activity to work on. Laminating and printing lets me reuse these items, and let the students use them independently and in groups.

• Learn and Play

  Thank you so much for your donations. These new additions to our class have been used almost daily! My student love getting to "play" while they learn. Each item was selected because it is hands on, kid friendly, and a great way to practice the learned skills.

  My students were so excited to get to use these activities. Although they were introduced one at a time, the anticipation was great and really helped them to stay excited and engaged.
