  • Kidney Table Needed!

    Thank you so much for your generosity and for caring for my students! My students are now able to sit around along our new kidney table to have small groups instead of sitting on the floor or having to move desks around in order to meet.

    We have small group work multiple times every school day and your donation is a very noticeable one! The students have commented on how things are so much better with the learning, flow, and aesthetics now with the new kidney table.

    I will attach some pictures so you can see how things look. I'm sure you will be pleased!

  • 2nd Grade Leveled Books to Grow Like Beanstalks!

    Thank you so very much for granting us new books! Thanks to your generosity my second graders were able to enjoy reading books that are at their reading levels and books that are not 10+ years old!

    I used most of the books for my classroom library where students were able to choose independent reading books from. The packs of books were used for reading groups to help students practice specific reading skills.

    It's now the third year since receiving the books and my current 3rd graders are still enjoying the books.”

    This classroom project was brought to life by Lakeshore Learning and 7 other donors.
With these books, my students will be able to practice reading books at their levels to become stronger readers who read accurately and fluently, and in turn, build their reading confidence. Though in 2nd grade, only 1 out of my 8 blended-learners can read at grade level. These books will be a great upgrade from the books we currently have in the classroom, which have yellowing pages falling out of spines. They desperately need more books to read daily, both at school and at home, in order to read on a 2nd grade level. Thank you so much for your help!
