  • Hungry to Learn about Eric Carle!

    Funded Dec 13, 2024

Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. My students and I are enjoying incorporating the felt pieces into our Eric Carle read alouds. They are using these pieces to help identify characters in the story. They are also using these pieces to help them identify parts of a story- beginning, middle and end.

My students were ecstatic when they saw the materials. They were so excited to see the three different felt pieces for the Eric Carle Read Alouds.

We are working on identifying central idea and key details in a story and look forward to using all of these wonderful materials!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Eliassof

  • Dramatic Play Fun!

    Funded May 19, 2024

Thank you so much! My students were so excited to play with their new and fun centers! Towards the end of the school year, we had more free time to explore dramatic play and these toys gave them an experience they will never forget!

They we're SO excited every time they saw a new package come to our door! Their eyes lit up every time we opened a package and saw what was inside- a farm, babies, ice cream counter, puzzle, bean bags and so much more!

These different center activities helped me learn more about my students too- their creativity, imagination, interests, and their problem solving skills.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Eliassof

  • Easel to Print!

    Funded Jan 5, 2024

THANK YOU!! Thank you so much for your donations. Since we've received our classroom printer, play-doh and mini easel's, our days have been so much better!

The classroom printer allows for each student to have what they need to be successful in a lesson. Last week I did a lesson about characters and settings. Some students were able to complete this without looking back in the story, while others benefited from printed copies of the characters in the story. Other students benefited from a sorting activity that I printed out! It allows for differentiation.

The easel is so helpful when working in small groups! I used to take little whiteboards and prop them up on the kids water bottles. Now, with our own stand-up double sided mini-easel, I'm able to assist 2 different students at once!

Lastly, the play-doh is such a great fine motor activity for these young learners! It helped us a lot in our 3D shapes unit! My students were able to use the play-doh to create cubes, cylinders, spheres and cones!

Thank you for making a difference in our lives!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Eliassof
