• Refresh Our Manga and Graphic Novel Collection

  I cannot keep these books on the shelf! You've really helped to promote literacy and meet student needs in a big way this year, mainly because we still haven't received a book order. • A Book Cart For Maximum Efficiency

  Thank you so much for helping us get a book cart for our library. The cart is hard at work, helping books return to the shelves faster than ever before! Quite honestly, this is an incredible game changer, and I don't know how we functioned without it before now. I'm personally indebted to you. Not having a cart took an immense physical toll on me, and now I can do my job more efficiently. I am immensely relieved to have the cart now, and to be able to shelve books for student use faster and with greater ease.”

• A Presidential Collection for Our Library

  Thank you so much for supporting our readers with this project. You've really added to our presidential library! This collection was highly needed as soon as possible, and it was a huge relief to add these resources to our collection in time for the election. Students have had many questions, and these books have helped in supporting instruction in the library and in classrooms as we approach election day, and will continue to do so in the future. • Manga & Comic Con

  Thank you so much for supporting our students in our first school-wide con! Thanks to you, we were able to complete incredible project-based learning applications. • A Library Rug for Cozy Reading

  Getting a library rug has made a tremendous difference in storytime instruction! Before, there was a slight discomfort and chaos to the whole routine, but now there is such order and coziness that invites a wonderful experience. The vibrancy of the rug really pulls the space together and helps students to feel welcome in the library space.

  Students love using the rug and sitting on it, and there is less confusion about the structure of storytime, allowing for a smoother transition into instruction.”

• Interactive Storytime for Motivated Readers

  Thank you so much for providing these materials, which have made a huge difference in instruction for our youngest readers in the library! We have been utilizing the interactive storytime materials to learn essential core skills in literacy and numeracy, and to work on our fine motor skills. These materials have been an essential piece to our library instructional routine. The students love using the felt boards and pieces, and the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree was a major hit that really helped!”

• Our Library Pet Needs a Good Environment!

  Since the funding of our project, students have been interacting with Kuromi on a daily basis! Kuromi is an essential member of our library and school community, and she has been utilized in socio-emotional learning, during speech lessons, and, naturally, to discuss scientific concepts such as animal characteristics, ecosystems, and evolution.

  Students even read aloud to Kuromi! She is a constant reading buddy, allowing students to work on fluency, phonics, and confidence while reading. Students are so excited to read to Kuromi, which helps to build a larger love of reading.”

• A Library LEGO Wall

  Funded Aug 2, 2023

  Thank you so much for supporting our LEGO wall! Our students were so excited to see that we had a LEGO wall, and always want to use it. Some of our students are really passionate about building with LEGO, and it completely entranced them to build on the wall.

  The students love using the wall, and are actually very meticulous about cleaning it after every use so that the next class has a blank canvas. I'm working with them to start building more complex shapes and images, and we'll start doing engineering challenges as the year progresses.

• Give Our Bearded Dragon the Best Life!

  Thank you so much for helping us to provide for our beloved bearded dragon, Kuro. Introducing a pet to the library has honestly been the best decision we have ever made. The students love Kuro, and he is flourishing thanks to your support. The supplies that the students chose were really useful and excellent, and he is growing so fast! Your support has made his life here with us so wonderful, and we are incredibly thankful that we have been able to give Kuro everything he needs.
