Breaking: News Team Needs Newsworthy Camera
Funded Dec 26, 2022The PS63 News Team would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your very generous donation to our Breaking: News Team Needs New Camera project.
We were in desperate need of new video equipment. Before we received your donation, we were very limited in our ability to capture video. We relied on iPhones and small digital cameras to capture video. This would create problems, especially outdoors or when the News Team was reporting from an event outside of our studio.
Now, with a professional 4k camera and video equipment, we can capture video in any situation. The team is very excited and it has opened up many more possibilities for reporting and other media. We've been able to do interviews, host outdoor events, film commercials, promo videos and travel outside of the news studio and even improved the in-studio videos. It has been amazing.
We are eternally grateful for your support and generosity. Your generosity goes beyond improved equipment; it has taught my news team the importance of community support and generosity, a lesson that they will keep with them for the rest of their lives. That's what school is all about. Thank you.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Amundson
Bring Pitch Perfect Audio to the News!
Funded Dec 17, 2022The PS63 News Team would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your very generous donation to out Pitch Perfect Audio project.
We were in desperate need of new audio equipment. Before we received you donation, we were very limited in our ability to capture sound. We relied on iPhones and camera mics to capture audio. This would create problems, especially outdoors or when the News Team was reporting from an event outside of our studio. We'd capture great video, but we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and it was proving to be very frustrating for the team.
Now, with wireless mics and audio equipment, we can capture audio "pitch perfectly." The team is very excited and it has opened up many more possibilities for reporting and other media. We've been able to do interviews, host outdoor events, travel outside of the news studio and even improved the in-studio audio for all of our videos. It has been amazing.
We are eternally grateful for your support and generosity. Your generosity goes beyond improved equipment; it has taught my news team the importance of community support and generosity, a lesson that they will keep with them for the rest of their lives. That's what school is all about. Thank you.”
