  • Chalk Pastels Project

    Funded Jul 26, 2013

Thank you for all of your assistance. The students of the Advanced Art program dearly needed chalk pastel supplies and did not have any for their works. We really want to thank you for all your financial assistance as the students really liked the project. Many of the students had either not heard of chalk pastels or had never used these materials. While some were apprehensive and others were very excited, everyone created wondrous works for all to enjoy. Again, thank you for all your help and assistance.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Faller

  • Chalk the Walk

    Funded Nov 8, 2012

Thank you for everything. The kids had a great time working with all the new chalks though it did rain. We were able to save enough of the chalk to use again in future projects. We plan on using this chalk in the Spring when the weather is much more ready to embrace the art. The chalk sticks were very viberant in color and were very good for the students to use. We actually had enough left over for us to use in other activites as well as we participants. Again, we really want to thank you for everything.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Faller

  • Advanced Placement Studio Art Help!

    Funded Jan 25, 2012

All of us from the Advanced Placement Studio Art class want to formally thank everyone for all of their support and help in making the supply dream become a reality. We have worked very hard to create stunning works of art and we have placed images of the artwork we have created from these very supplies. We were able to purchase painting supplies and canvases, along with other materials. Again, thank you for all your help and assistance as my students greatly appreciate Aveyron's help.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Faller

  • Environmental Arts Mural

    Funded Jan 31, 2012

Many of the students working on the mural are from a different SLC from my own as I am from Visual Arts and the students are from Environmental Urban Studies. I am working with a variety of students who are not as exposed to the visual arts, creating a mural that represents the environment. We spent close to two weeks deciding upon a design for the mural and worked with various students to select these images. After much deliberation, we worked on a wonderful mural that involved a Japanese theme coupled with a movement of different landscapes. Thank you everyone for all of your support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Faller

My students are Title One designation and are very proactive in regards to the development of their Art Projects. Many of the students want to paint and use other artist materials, but I do not have enough specialized instruments for them to use during the class.
