Lego Robotics Comes to Crown Heights
Funded Apr 22, 2015I just wanted to thank you for donation. It's great to know that people out there want to truly help the kids. These robot kits are truly needed especially since two of our robots recently broke. Enough resources are our biggest problem in education. It's great to be able to offer programs to kids that truly excite and inspire them. It's going to be a lot of fun. These kits allow us to spread our program to even more students!!
Thank you very much. We really appreciate it.”

3D Printing in Crown Heights Brooklyn
Funded Sep 3, 2014I just wanted to take the time to thank you for your donation. My students are so focused when I teach them how to use C.A.D. (Computer Animated Drafting) and I know it's because we have a 3D printer in the room. They know a C.A.D lesson means they get to make something. They routinely watch in amazement as our little machine makes their creations come to life. I am so very grateful that my lessons can be creative. I can really tap into the imagination of a child. I no longer have to be solely concerned with test prep and high stakes test scores. I can do both. I can actually teach important skills while allowing my students to explore their creativity and imagination.
It's all thanks to your generous donation.”

Flash Drives in a Flash!
Funded Nov 19, 2013I can't tell you how much it meant to my students that they received these flash drives. I know flash drives don't cost much. The impact was more in terms of my students believing that there are people out in the world that care. They were fascinated by the fact that complete strangers care about them and their success. They really started to see the world in a different way for just a second. Many of them believe the world to be against them with only family and friends on their side but now they wonder how many more people out there are as nice as all of you.
I thank you all for your generosity.”
