  • Printing Power

    Funded Sep 11, 2013

There is no way to adequately describe our appreciation of your support. The students are thrilled with the new printer and we are able to use it to create differentiated work that increases the productivity of all our students, but especially those with special needs.

We are able to individually design graphic organizers and worksheets allowing each student to receive that amount of individual support needed for optimal success. We can use the printer to create vivid research projects with color pictures and this makes the students even more invested in their success.

There is nothing like individual support to make a student feel like they are being targeted for success and your donation makes it easier for us to provide this to our special kids everyday.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Reitzfeld and Mr. Rainey

  • We Wanna Live in Elmo's World!

    Funded Oct 16, 2012

There are no words to express my gratitude for your generous donation. The document camera brought new energy and life into our room. Being able to use student work as models for the class, teaching lessons from primary documents and showing photographs and other images to the class have changed the teaching in our room in an immeasurably positive way.

Our school is currently experiencing a budget shortfall, and without your help my students would not have access to this type of interactive learning. Studying from textbooks went out of style with the dinosaurs: your generous gift has brought our teaching into the modern age!

Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Reitzfeld and Mr. Rainey

  • We Need a Passport to Everywhere

    Funded Oct 18, 2012

There is no way to sufficiently express the gratitude we feel. Your generous donation to our classroom breathed new life into our loved, but old, library. The new books revived interest in reading, opened awareness to new genres and attracted even our most reluctant readers back to our shelves.

Our school is currently facing a budget shortfall so, without your help, our students would not have access to these vital resources. There is nothing like a new book in one's hand: the smell, the feeling, the excitement of knowing you are the first to crack the spine. Thank you for helping my students experience these feelings.

Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Reitzfeld and Mr. Rainey

  • Play to Win!

    Funded Dec 9, 2011

There is no way I can thank you enough for your support of my amazing students. The games are a huge hit! There is nothing better than watching their faces as they play, while learning and exploring new concepts.

Just last month, as we completed our persuasive writing unit, one of my students penned me a letter explaining why we needed more games in our classroom. She put to good use all of the strategies of I had taught during the unit, giving me examples and telling me in great detail why children learn better when they are having fun. Thanks to your generosity her wish has come true!

I am so very grateful for the continued support of the many who believe in public education. My students are grateful too. They ask me who are all the people who send these gifts to help us in our classroom. I tell them some I know and some I do not know, but that is what makes giving and receiving great and why we continue to make it the culture of our classroom to pay it forward in our own small way.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Reitzfeld and Mr. Rainey

  • See Hear!!

    Funded Oct 17, 2011

Thank you so much for the generous donation of the listening library. The audio books and cd players help my students every single day. They are able to read books that they would never attempt on their own. Along with building confidence, the library has helped to increase their vocabulary, sight word recognition and reading enjoyment.

Schools have been hit hard this year and without your generous donation, my students would not have had access to these types of resources. You have helped to provide a crucial element toward these students future academic success.

    Thank you.

The photos say more than my words ever could...the smiles and laughter when the boxes arrived were priceless.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Reitzfeld and Mr. Rainey
