Hola! My name is Russell Quiones, and I am a Spanish teacher at Freire Charter High School in Philadelphia. When I think about a future for my students, I hope that they feel empowered to forge their own paths, and that Spanish will find a place along the way. In the classroom we seek to break down cultural barriers, overcome embarrassment, refine accents, and have fun. I am incredibly passionate about Spanish language and culture, and I am always in search of new ways to share this passion with my students.
