  • Hatching Chicks - First Grade STEM!

    Funded Feb 7, 2022

Thank you for your generosity! We are beyond grateful to be receiving the incubator, brooder, and educational materials!

I will be able to tell my students that we will now be able to hatch chicks this Spring and J can already hear their squeals of delight and clapping! They will be very excited to receive our materials and watch our eggs hatch into chicks!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Prince

  • Updated Technology Needed

    Funded Nov 23, 2020

Thank you SO much for your generosity! My students will be so excited to have an iPad that we can log in to the newer apps for easier access with their learning. This will allow them to have access to their curriculum fit for them. You all mean the world to us!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Prince

  • Engaging Student Material Needed

    Funded Mar 9, 2016

When my students first saw the boxes delivered, they were so excited when I told them that these were delivered especially for them. They were in disbelief. As I started to unpack them and explain to them which each item was, they couldn't wait to be able to play these games and complete the activities with them for our Fun Fridays.

My students have been so enthusiastic about learning while using these materials that were funded for us. These resources (the games, and activities) have been easily incorporated into my lessons and the students are able to successfully learn with them independently, from where before; they were not motivated to complete assignments without adult support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Prince

My school is a Title I school with 51% of our students on free and reduced lunch, that has a mission to increase the quality of student learning, create a sense of community learning, set rigorous goals for student achievement, and to also set high expectations for every student. This year, I currently have fourth and fifth graders on my caseload, all working below their current grade level. These students are hard to motivate because they do tend to struggle more than your average student. These students are more than capable of learning things on grade level, but just need the extra assistance in reaching their own goals made specifically for them.
