Exploring Learning!!
Funded Mar 4, 2022My students and myself, really appreciate the love and support that you shown towards us for All of our items that we received for our classroom. Not only that but thank you to the generous donors that contributed to our learning as well. Words can't explain how humble we are, again we thank you. The children was very excited by using the lined paper because they are getting adjusted to scribbling and exploring on the paper so they love to make different things and I would have to ask to see what they or writing. That said things like that's a big box, what's in their can we play with what's inside. The next project will be getting prepared for kindergarten and get back to not wearing mask for the next school term because we have wearing them for three years.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Powell

Funded Sep 22, 2019Thanks so much for all you have done for my classroom and my students to prosper in the classroom. We use the material at center time because the children has to rotate from center one to four and everyone can use the material because it takes twenty-minutes at each center and the children can use the swapping fly swatter to say there sight words if the child does get it correct the next child will be able to swat the word and so on. They use the calendar and numbers at calendar time to repeat the numbers one to one-hundred, they love saying their numbers and I throw a little extra practice in by letting them say the numbers backward and they count down until they get from ten to one by repeating is as a whisper and when they get to the number one they say blast off!!! They really love doing that.
When the material arrive I told the children that I have a surprise for them. We have some new supplies and they were very happy to see all the items I took out of the box. They was very excited to see material and was jumping and hollering I had to calm them down before someone hear us (lol). They were very pleased because now they could use them and have fun with using the scissors, the birthday chart to put there name on the colorful sheet too see when it will be. I taught them how to sing the months song and they asked, Mrs. Powell can we sing the song to our birthday and everyone joined in, they were so happy and grateful to have experienced that moment. I put the material in the room so they can see it when they walk in the room. They love the fact that they have new pencils with erasers that they can us.
My next step will be to be indulge with using the rest of the material like the paper, pencils, cutup papers doing projects for the holidays and just have with using the material and learning and exploring learning for the children to be able to be grateful and have fun using new items in the classroom. Again, thank you so much for touching my little ones heart and mind.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Powell
