• For the Love of Art!

  Thank you all so much for your very generous donations. This project helped my students express what they discovered about weather in our reading program. Students were able to describe how the weather can "tell us" how to dress for the day and how it also allows us to do certain activities.

  In addition, students leaned how to draw different habits & horizon lines. My students loved using watercolors to bring their drawings to life.

  Art is a great way for students to show others what they know!

• Sensory Tools

• Weather Labs!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations. The students were so excited to see all of the lab materials for our reading Module.

  Students created their own landscape watercolor paintings. They also were able to observe different plants up close using their new magnifying lenses.

  Students then shared their paintings and observations with the class. As you can see by the look on their faces they had an amazing time.

• Set Up for Success!

  Thank you so much for all of your generosity and support. This project proved my student a safe and comfortable environment at school.

  Masks were always available at school. Students were able to change their masks at any time when needed. As we all have experienced during Covid, using more more than one mask a day occurred quite frequently. Sometimes masks break or get wet making it very difficult to wear that mask. Students knew that they always had an extra mask available.

  In addition, My students also knew if they were hungry they were alway able to go to our snack bin and choose a snack. They quickly got their snack and continued their task on hand. Being able to focus on learning instead of a growling stomach ...... Priceless!

• Quench Our Thirst!

  On behalf of all of our kindergarten students (and our school's staff) I would like to thank you for your generous donations.

  When students run out of water they know exactly what to do to refill their water bottle to use to keep hydrated.

  Being hydrated during the day is so important for students. Since our brains are mostly water, drinking it helps people think, focus and concentrate better and be more alert. In addition, energy levels are also elevated.

• "Organized" Team Sports!

  Thank you so much for all of your generous donations. Organized Team Sports Project has affected over 700 students. Students are so excited because they get plenty of time to practice their sport/activity due to your help.

  Our sports equipment is now organized and has easy access for students to get their equipment in a timely manner. This allows our students to work more on their skills and conditioning and less time on gathering their equipment.

• Mask Up!

  Funded Dec 30, 2021

  Yesterday our school received our delivery of masks. I cannot express how grateful we are for your very generous donations. My students could not believe how many boxes arrived. The masks were passed out to all classrooms in our building.

  These masks will protect all people in our building. We are going through masks quickly due to the flu season.

  In addition to the health benefit of this program, this project also showed my kindergarten students how kind and generous people are. They learned how people are kind to others even if they do not know them personally. Happy New Year!”
