Admit it, you loved playing with your Legos as a child. Imagine getting to play with them in the classroom while learning how to design, build, program and test robots. Mindstorm EV3 Core kits will offer STEM opportunities to ALL my students in 4th and 5th grades. In my Technology class, students will be placed in small groups. Two members will work on creating a program to make the robot perform a specific function like transporting objects to new locations while the other members will design and build this robot while deciding which sensors and motors would be best used to accomplish this task. After conducting tests and analyzing the data, the groups will problem solve and make adjustments and then test their robots again.
