• Dance Team Needs Supplies

  Thank you for generously donating to our dance program! We are so excited to start off the school year with such fantastic supplies for the classroom.

  As the program director, I am incredibly excited to use the cricut machine to make signage for the dance program. This will help make our dance performances look much more professional.

• We Need Jazz Shoes For Dance Class

  Thank you for donating dance shoes to our dance program! It can be difficult to ask each dancer in my dance program to purchase jazz shoes. They are not only expensive, but they also do not last incredibly long because of the various surfaces that a dancer may perform on. Some of the surfaces really age the dance shoes.

  It is truly a blessing to be able to start out the school year with brand new jazz shoes for my company class. They will be so excited to hear me announce this!

• Help us form a NEW Hip Hop Dance Team

  Thank you so much for funding this project. My students and our community absolutely love Hip Hop Culture and the genre of dance. Being able to offer this dance team to the school community is something that is vital to our campus. The arts motivate students and help them keep their dreams alive.

  We are so excited to get started on this new and exciting program. I have been working closely with our Hip Hop Instructor/Choreographer, Angel Villalobos, and we are in the midst of planning out what the team will look like for the 2018/19 school year.

• Performing Arts Center Needs Refrigerator

  Thank you so much on behalf of our entire performing arts department for this refrigerator! We are thrilled to have this new refrigerator for our productions.

  This refrigerator has arrived just in time for all of our upcoming spring productions. Dance, choral music, instrumental music, and theater will all be able to use our new fridge to store perishables.

  Not only will we be able use these for our upcoming performing arts productions, but our students will take pride in this new equipment for making our performing arts center run seamlessly. Additionally, groups renting out the theater will have full access to this refrigerator and it will help make productions easier for all groups, school and community, using the theater.

• Dancers Need Portable Speakers for Rehearsal

• Dance Program Needs Classroom & Storage Supplies

  Thank you so much for contributing to my classroom. Although these types of supply items can be easy to overlook, they are so vital to keeping my dance program up-and-running.

  From the storage organizers and portable draw organizer to the neosporin, ice packs and hydrogen peroxide, these supplies will help my dancers through their injuries and it will aide us in staying organized. It is important to maintain organization so that we take care of the things that we DO have.

• Dance Program Needs Printing Ink

  Thank you so much for contributing to our dance program. We really appreciate it. Because of your donation, we will have printer ink for the rest of this school year and next school year. Wow! It feels so great to know I will have the appropriate supplies for the beginning of a new school year.

  With this printer ink, my students will be able to print their school work. Often times, the libraries are crowded with students printing so it is nice to be able to provide another option for my students.

  Additionally, I will be able to print out promotional items along with general class assignments that I need to print and submit to the duplication department. This will allow me to get our program information out in to the community and assignments in to the hands of my students.

• Field Trip: Palm Springs Dance Festival

  Thank you so much for contributing to our fieldtrip to the Palm Springs dance festival. Our trip was nothing short of amazing. Being able to have my students take three master classes from three industry professionals was a very significant experience. This is not something that every public school educator can afford their students, particularly in the performing arts. Your donations have not gone without deep appreciation.

  My students were also able to see an incredible evening performances where some of the professionals they took class from also performed in the show. It was so fun to see them light up the stage. My students were more than impressed and they returned to school talking about what a fun time they had on their trip.
