Snap! Through His and Her Eyes.
Funded Mar 25, 2023On behalf of our entire school community, I extend our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible generosity and support in enriching our students' lives through the donation of polaroid cameras, film, cyanotype equipment, and digital cameras. Your contributions have made a profound impact on our students' learning experiences and have opened up a world of creative possibilities for them.
The students were thrilled to receive these new tools for self-expression and exploration. The polaroid cameras, in particular, proved to be an instant hit, allowing them to capture fleeting moments in a tangible, physical form. The excitement was palpable as they eagerly snapped pictures, documenting their daily lives, friendships, and school activities.
For many of our students, the digital cameras were a revelation. Accustomed to the limitations of their cell phone cameras, they were amazed by the capabilities of these devices, allowing them to capture high-quality images and experiment with different photographic techniques. The cyanotype equipment, too, sparked their imaginations as they discovered the magic of creating photographic prints using sunlight and chemicals.
Your gifts have not only provided our students with access to new technologies but have also fostered their creativity, curiosity, and self-confidence. The joy and engagement they displayed while using these tools were truly heartwarming. They were eager to experiment, share their creations, and learn more about the art of photography.
We are deeply grateful for your unwavering support of my classroom and school and our mission to provide enriching learning experiences for all students. Your generosity has made a lasting impact on our students' lives, and we cannot thank you enough.”

This classroom project was brought to life by an Anonymous Classroom Supporter and 17 other donors.3D Pen Accessories!
Funded Nov 20, 2021Thank you for the graciousness of your donations. The art club using 3d pens has engaged both middle school boys and girls who were excited and willing to give up their recess time to experiment with the 3D pen fun. It was a necessary addition to their day, and it was an educational and thoughtful way to spend lunch time in the classroom.
Most of my students have seen 3d pens being advertised online and on tv, but most have never used one. Your donation helped keep the 3d pen accessible in my school to all who showed interest. With the additional accessories, students got to have their own mat as they worked with the 3d pen, as well as not have to worry about the ink-filament running out. This all added to more time per student with the 3d pen and more experimentation as they got familiar with mastering this new STEAM innovation.
My favorite role that you got to play as a donor was the ability to give my students this very special and educational time for themselves. These students gave up recess time to spend in the art room, and what brought them upstairs to keep being creative was the 3D pens and accessories you helped provide.”

Steam Art Creations!
Funded Jun 13, 2021It has been a very challenging time in our lives due to the Covid era, yet despite all of our personal struggles throughout this pandemic, donors like you chose to help out a school in need. Your donation, through the purchase of 3D art pens and accessories, ensured that my students had access to 21st century art technology that enabled them to learn skills and concepts that will serve them well in the future. And most importantly, your donation helped spur excitement and enthusiasm in my students for school, during the most challenging period of their lives.
The past few months spent with students, we have gone straight to art making. Projects for small group sessions and art club have included the use of the 3D pen. It is with most excitement that the students arrive for art club, when they know it will be "3D Pen Week". Creativity and innovation has been at the core of our school, with the help of your 3D pen donations. Recently, new 6th grader, Aaron, has been attending art club during lunch and has expressed his enthusiasm toward the 3D pen week. It helped him see how art, technology, and science are closely related, and he hopes to explore these concepts more and make further connections as a student in the future.
Once again, I thank you greatly for your donations and for ensuring that my students have access to 21st century STEAM technology. I am so grateful and appreciative that there were donors like you, who chose to help a teacher like me.
Thank you for your donation.”
With gratitude,
Ms. O
