Please help me be able to give students meaningful books to love and learn from. I want my students' choice of books to be diverse. My students are motivated by high interest material and material that relates directly to them or their culture. They are funny and endearing. They appreciate books that delve deeper and require higher level thinking. They are masters of discussion, which is a huge part of my teaching style. It is imperative that they have some connection with the book they are reading.
