  • We Can All Read On-Level-Text

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you for these wonderful resources for my classroom. I have them displayed in the classroom as a resource for my students that are new to the country as well as my students that are struggling readers. The magnetic pocket charts are easy to display. I appreciate all your help in getting these resources in my classroom. My students use them daily and it also brightens up our classroom. Your generosity has made this possible and we are all very grateful. Wishing you a very Happy Holiday Season.”

  • Comfy Reading Chairs Needed

    Funded Oct 5, 2024

Thank you for the wonderful cozy chairs for our reading corner. Thanks to your wonderful donations, my students have a cozy place to read and relax. They love the comfy chairs and always ask to sit and read. Many times the students just sit to do written work. It is a lovely addition to our classroom and would not be possible without your generous donations. It gives the kids a break from sitting at their desks all day, and reading at their desks is definitely not as comfortable as sitting on these great chairs. Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • Snacks For After School Program, Please!

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

Thank you very much for your generous donations and helping give my students the snacks and treats we need for our after school program. The snacks are a great way to motivate my students and keep the feeling satisfied until the go home at 5 p.m. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Without your generous donations I would be unable to provide these great snacks for my students. They get so excited when it it snack time, or if they get a treat for good work. Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • Laminating Machine Needed

    Funded May 16, 2024

I cannot thank you enough for the laminating machine. It has been a game changer in my classroom. I have been able to laminate different word cards, posters, working board name plates and so many other things. Being able to laminate things not only saves me time from having to make things new once they rip, but also saves paper since the kids can work on the worksheet with expo markers and erase their work when they are done. Thank you so much for your donations and helping me get this useful machine. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.”

  • In Order to Succeed, We Must Read

    Funded May 1, 2024

The kindle has been such a treat to have in the classroom. The children are allowed to use it in class and to borrow it for the weekend. I have the kindle connected to Libby and this way the students can borrow books from my local library. The kindle has motivated students that might not always be interested in reading because of the immense variety of books they are able to borrow. Many times, we do not have a physical copy of the book they are interested in, so this is a wonderful way for them to have access to all books.”

The school day is long and the students stay after school for an additional two hours. Having delicious snacks to give them is a blessing. My students and I are very grateful.”

  • Juice to Quench Our Thirst

    Funded Jan 22, 2024

Thank you for funding this very important project. I'm so grateful to be able to provide juice for my students whenever they asked. The water fountains on my floor are not working and the kids come back from lunch or gym thirsty. Many have been mindful to bring water with them, but most of the time, they need a water bottle. Having access to juice boxes has been wonderful for my students. Thank you so much for your generous donations. I am so appreciative. My students are enjoying their juice with snacks in after school or whenever they need it.”

  • New Titles For Our Library

    Funded Jan 8, 2024

I am so grateful to have had this project funded. My students are already loving the new graphic novels that we received thanks to your generous donations. Since my students are all English Language learners, books that are high level interest, yet low reading level, are hard to come by. Graphic novels allows my students to read books that they are interested in at their reading level. The visual clues assist the students in their comprehension. I am so thankful to have so many wonderful new books in our classroom library. Thank you for your generosity. It is very much appreciated.”

An iPad is the perfect tool for teaching STEM topics such as narrative procedures, coding, design thinking, analyzing and creating. My school is new to STEM and many of my students will continue their education remotely. As a hybrid in-person teacher, I would like to give my students the optimal experience learning new material which will help them be critical thinkers, design content, and animate their assignments. As a senior teacher, I am always looking to improve my teaching and I believe an iPad will enhance the learning experience for my English Language Learners.
