• Help Us Celebrate the Lunar New Year

  Thank you for your generous donations to help my students learn about the Lunar New Year. We had so much fun learning about the holiday. The kids all got a red envelope, chocolate coins, and some red snacks to celebrate the day. If not for your generous donation, the students would not have had as much fun learning about a different culture and celebrating the holiday that is a day off from school. I appreciate being able to experience this with my students and I am sure this was as memorable for them as it was for me.”

The school day is long and the students stay after school for an additional two hours. Having delicious snacks to give them is a blessing. • New Books for 6th Grade Library

  I am so grateful to have had this project funded. My students are already loving the new graphic novels that we received thanks to your generous donations. Since my students are all English Language learners, books that are high level interest, yet low reading level, are hard to come by. Graphic novels allows my students to read books that they are interested in at their reading level. The visual clues assist the students in their comprehension. They are also grateful for the newest titles for Dog Man, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the latest, Who is? featuring Taylor Swift. I am so thankful to have so many wonderful new books in our classroom library. Thank you for your generosity. It is very much appreciated.”

  I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation that funded this very important project. Scholastic News has been an amazing resource in my classroom. The students love the magazines and being able to have their own copy. The online resources are so helpful. Being able to provide the students a copy of the magazine in Spanish has had a positive impact on the students work. I was also able to share my account with the other sixth grade teachers so this project is now helping over 150 students. Thank you again for your generosity.”

• Basic Supplies Needed for a Successful School Year

  Thank so much for helping me purchase basic supplies that are so needed for my classroom. The scissors and glues have been a great addition to the classroom because we are in constant need of glue for our projects. The folders and labels help organize our portfolios and keep track of our progress. With generous donations from donors such as yourselves, I have been able to create a wonderful learning environment for my students with access to supplies and materials we need. The sharpener has been much needed and appreciated.”

  Thank you for these wonderful resources for my classroom. I have them displayed in the classroom as a resource for my students that are new to the country as well as my students that are struggling readers. The magnetic pocket charts are easy to display. I appreciate all your help in getting these resources in my classroom. My students use them daily and it also brightens up our classroom.
