Thank you again for your generous donation of the Kindle Fire tablets! And thank you for your dedication and commitment to enriching students' education. Having these tablets in the classroom has allowed my students to access a wealth of educational resources and tools available on the internet. Student engagement has increased noticeably now that students can use the tablets to read e-books, write and illustrate their own stories and comics, and play educational games. I have also created resources to assess students' learning with the tablets -- students now take their weekly spelling test on the tablets and they also read e-books with which I can interactively ask comprehension questions. The Kindle Fire tablets have become a valuable learning tool in our classroom, and we owe it all to you! Thank you!!”

I would love to provide each of my students with an Amazon Kindle Fire tablet. Coming from a technology and computer programming background, I am constantly thinking of ways to incorporate technology into my daily instruction in order to further engage my students. I often create interactive lessons for my students, and they love to participate in these lessons on a tablet. I believe the students can greatly supplement their learning with this versatile educational tool. My students can use these Amazon Kindle Fire tablets as an interactive worksheet, e-book, web browser, calculator, dictionary, or thesaurus - the possibilities are endless! With these Kindle Fire tablets in the classroom, I hope to eventually convert my room to paperless learning - we will read digital textbooks and do digital worksheets on the Fire. I hope we can make this happen with your help!
