  • Snacks for Literacy Club

    Snacks for literacy was a big hit amongst my students. When the donations arrived, they were so eager to see what was in the boxes they could not stay still in their seats. As I explained to my angels that we received a donations for snacks, they explode with excitement and smiles.

    In my classroom snacks are used to motivate, encourage and inspire to read and always do their best. As my students read and worked independently, they were able to drink water, in which they stated, "this is so refreshing". They call it their smart water.

    This small token of appreciation has changed the dynamics in my classroom. Students are eager to work together and share with other peers and other classes. Once again we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

My students are currently doing reading and math lessons in class daily. Currently we do not have headphones so that each student can focus on their own individual lessons. These headphones will help keep my classroom quiet and also allow them to concentrate on their own lessons so that they can achieve their own academic goals. When students are focused on their lessons they are more engaged in the subjects that are presented to them. A part of my students success relies on various academic programs that are technology based. These headphones will help my students succeed in first grade.
