A Peaceful Study Lounge

This Thanksgiving my students are most grateful for people like you that believe in them. All of my students love their new study lounge and are actively using it for academic purposes and as a safe haven where they can relax and take a break from their hectic schedule. When I asked my students a few weeks ago "What are your thoughts that people think you are worth it? You are worth investing in and that they believe in you?" Some of their responses were:

"It feels scary because now we want to prove that we are going to do great because we don't want to let our donors down."

"I feel pressure now but it's all good pressure because people believe in us. We want to make them proud."

"It feels like we are connected to other people outside of this classroom and that feels good."

Donors, what you did for these kids is give them hope. They are now aware that other people care about them, giving them the hope they need to drive them to embark on a journey to reach their academic success.

Thank you for all of your support. You are all amazing and my students and I have a great deal of love in our hearts for people like you! You made a difference in this world!! Thanks again!!”
