  • Interactive Learning with an iPad!

    Funded Oct 15, 2013

Thank you for your generous donations. My students were so excited to open up our box of materials. The IPAD was charged right away, and the kids have been using it ever since!

The IPAD you funded has given my students a resource to use during science investigations. They look up new ideas that connect to our experiments, and have found many applications that we use to enhance our learning.

This IPAD has allowed them to make stronger connections between the hands-on-activities we do and the content that we are studying in class. They love using the IPAD and are constantly trying to find new ways to use it! They love being an "expert" and teaching us new content, applications, and ideas that they found on the IPAD. Thank you for helping to bring a smile to my students' faces and knowledge to their ever growing minds.”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Deaver

  • Technology To Use On The GO!

    Funded Oct 9, 2012

Thank you for your generous donations. The Asus Transformer Tablet you funded has given my students a resource to use during science investigations. It has allowed them to make stronger connections between the hands-on-activities we do and the content that we are studying in class. I am in awe each time I see a student ask a question, go to the tablet, research the question, and walk away with a smile on their face. Many times they come up to me to "impress" me with their new found knowledge. Thank you for helping to bring a smile to my students' faces and knowledge to their ever growing minds. Thanks!”

    Dr. Deaver

  • Science, Science, Read All About it!

    Funded Oct 22, 2012

Thank you for your generous donation to our class project. Sonic Drive-In has truly done a lot to help out our schools! It is nice to know that we still have companies that care about the community and the education of our young leaders! The science books you funded have filled my students with a joy for learning. They are constantly wanting to read the new books and are absolutely intrigued with some of the new concepts they have learned. I love that my students are excited about science and reading!!! Thank you so much for all that you have done to help my students and their studies.”

    With gratitude,

  • A Place to Learn!

    Funded Oct 15, 2012

Thank you for your donation to our project, "A Place to Learn". The classroom rug that you funded has given my students a place to collaborate, brainstorm, and meet together in a safe and comfortable environment. Not only does it give us a space to work collaboratively but it is also large enough so that we can all have enough personal space. My students have been using this area on a daily basis and are continuously looking for reasons to work on the rug. Many of them have made this "their" spot for reading and independent work time. Again, I want to thank you for your generous donation!”

  • Young Scientists Need Materials!

    Funded Sep 19, 2011

Thank you for your donation. We have been using our new science materials daily!

The materials you have funded has allowed my students to make connections between the hands-on-activities and the content they are learning in class. They have been enthusiastically working with these materials and have really shown a love for science. Many times I have had students walk up to me begging to come back into my classroom to work with these materials some more!

What a joy to know that these students have developed such a love and appreciation for this subject! Thank you so much.”

    Dr. Deaver

  • Reading About the World Around Us!

    Funded Sep 17, 2010

I am thrilled that you funded my project. It is great to see businesses take an active role in k-12 education.

These nonfiction books have enabled my students to learn more about the world around us, while creating an interest in fields that could possibly be their future careers.

Thanks to you SONIC Drive-In, we now have nonfiction books that are readily available to us and we are using them daily to supplement our classroom curriculum. Thank you! ”

    With gratitude,

    Dr. Deaver
