  • Textbook for Professional Learning

    Funded Mar 14, 2024

Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity! This P Book was very useful. I even was able to share it with a colleague and when they are done they will return it to our Professional Learning book library.

What a wonderful opportunity to have a professional learning book and have donations matched.

The book allowed me to learn new things and engage in discussions with colleagues where we can all grow.

I couldn't have done it without your support! This was an amazing opportunity, I look forward to more!”

  • Library Book Baggies!

    Funded Sep 9, 2024

Thank you for funding the cost of ziploc book baggies. With all of the students that visit the library, it certainly adds up. The students were excited to use their bags to hold and protect their books. Many were excited for the label which to them is their very own library and to me is a time saver as I can quickly zap their card and not have to search by last name (through 1500 names) in our library database.

Last year I had students come in with books covered in mushed bananas, pears and one too many books soaked by the dreaded backpack water bottles. This is what prompted me to ask for baggies and last week when a student cane to me with her book baggie covered, and I mean covered in an entire bottle of Elmer's glue and the brand new book still in perfect condition I was thrilled I was able to have this project funded and the bags available to my students protecting that book for many more to read.

Our library circulation has also improved since recieving these bags which is so exciting, thank you again!”

    Funded Mar 22, 2024

Yay! Thank you so much for helping me to give my students an amazing experience in the Computer Lab and Library! Fun activities that are centered around learning are the things you remember from elementary school for years to come.

The students have all loved spreading kindness and couldn't have done it without the materials in this project. It was so great to see the kindness in action from the littles up to the too cool fifth graders.

We couldn't have made this happen without your generosity and kindness and we can't thank you enough!”

  • March Book Madness 2024!

    Funded Mar 5, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness! The new books put huge smiles on my students faces! The new books were unpacked immediately and they were so excited to read them and participate in March Book Madness. We played musical books to get acquainted with them all. It was great.

The new diverse picture books were especially appreciated as my students love seeing kids they can relate to in a new book.

They say it takes a village, thank you for being an important part of ours! We couldn't have added these new books to the library with out you.”

My students are K-5th graders who are full of energy & visit the library once a week for scheduled special. In addition, teachers send students to the library to complete a task or come for a full class activity. Some also come during recess for fun or to mentor younger students. This year library looks different, Library is coming to classrooms. Students attend school in a hybrid model or some attend school fully virtually 5 days per week. The students have adapted to the challenges thrown at them this year & are not only surviving, but thriving in this very different environment due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. My students come from very diverse backgrounds. They love reading diverse books, participating in makerspace activites & STEM challenges & are very curious. There are over 1400 students in our school! I have a large population of ELLs, they eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. They are all amazing kids!
