Can You Hear Me Now?
Funded Dec 7, 2023I want to start by saying thank you so much for spending your hard earned money on our little classroom in Louisiana. We are so thankful for people like you. These headphones are used by my students every single day. While they don't spend an enormous amount of time on their computers everyday; they do however get on them every day. It would be a lot more difficult for my students to complete their work without these headphones.
My students are so excited that these headphones fit their little heads perfectly. We've had some other headphones in the past that weren't made for children and they hurt their ears. These are perfect for them. Thank you so much again.”

These headphones are used every single day by our students. The students do many lessons on the Chromebook every single day. Without your generous donation, this would be much harder.

We are using these pencils every single day. We have started a new school year and now a new group of students are using these pencils. After this first week of school, we have noticed that no one has needed their pencils sharpened because they did not break! What a relief it is to have good pencils!

Funded Nov 8, 2020The materials that you purchased for our classroom has been so helpful. We have used all of the materials every single day. I cannot describe the excitement of my students when they realized that they were able to have these markers. I allowed them to pick their own color for the markers, this was a special treat for them. They use the markers every day in math. We have white board work to do each day. These fine tip markers make it much easier for the students to write. The pencils have been super helpful to not only the students, but the teachers as well. The pencils that you purchased last much longer than the average pencil. We are sharpening less, therefore we are spending more time teaching. Thank you again for how much you have helped our class!”

Can You Hear Me Now?
Funded Oct 23, 2020I want to begin by saying thank you so much for supporting education and teachers. With your help, these students are able to receive things that they may not have been able to do otherwise. All of my students have a Chromebook assigned to them that they use every day. We complete lessons on them and allow them to play educational games. The headphones that you allowed these students to have gives them the chance to grow academically. They are able to listen to the lessons as they go without disturbing others around them.
These headphones were a great surprise to my students. When the students were unboxing them, they couldn't believe that someone would buy these for them. I allowed them to pick their own color, that was their favorite part. The students have been using these headphones every day.
The organization boxes are especially great in our classroom. With all that is going on with covid-19, all student supplies need to stay separate. These drawers allow us to stay separate but organized.

Getting Comfy in the Reading Corner
Funded Mar 13, 2018Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. My students are using this reading bench throughout the day every single day since we received it. I am using it in centers, as well as free reading time.
When my class first saw the reading bench, all I could hear were streaks of excitement. The screamed and jumped up and down. Your donation means so much to these sweet first graders. When they first were able to try it out, they wanted to see how many students could fit. They were able to fit five first graders comfortably on the bench.
We have put our accelerated reader books in the shelf on the bench. My students read on the bench then take a test on the computer. The students as well as me are so grateful for your contribution to their education.”
