  • Where’s My Stuff?

    Funded Apr 4, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation! My students are now very organized and no longer get behind due to not having their materials. They are more engaged and very active in class.

When I first revealed the seat pouch covers my students were super excited! They couldn't wait to put them on the back of their desks. They store all types of materials in these chair pouches. Items such as textbooks, whiteboards and markers, etc.

Because if your generous donation, my 5th grade student were more successful. Thanks so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sims

  • Everyday Supplies for Success!

    Funded Dec 24, 2022

Words can not express how grateful myself and my students are because of your kind heart and desire to help educators. As well as help students' have an improved learning process does not have to stop because they don't have the necessary supplies. Sixth graders enjoy being engaged and getting excited about learning. EdPuzzle (one of our interactive leaning applications) definitely is more beneficial with sound. It allows students to actively engage with each lesson. Whiteboard exchange takes our entire lesson on another level when we have enough dry erase markers for each student.

On behalf our my sixth grade students, thank you so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sims

  • RMS DRAMA CLUB: Lights Camera Action & Sound!

    Funded Mar 9, 2020

As we embark on another opportunity to inspire the next generation of innovators and storytellers this next school year, we cannot help but thank the Amazing Disney Musicals in Schools for putting a smile on the faces of our students. It was truly "music" to our ears to learn that our future productions would now have great quality sound.

The second week we received the equipment, we could not wait to give it a test run. After we unpacked the PA System, we mic'd the actors and gave it a go. It was AMAZING! Before our sound was not as powerful and it would go in and out. Well not this time! We were so happy with this product! We also received the wireless microphone with a rechargeable receiver. This will be perfect for the narrator role. This new equipment definitely gave our rehearsal a face lift. Things livened up very quickly!

We are so grateful for all that you did for us and countless others. Thanks for making our dreams come true.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sims

RMS is experiencing a Drama Club at their school for the very first time this year. Good quality sound versus bad quality sound can make or break a theatrical performance. A new PA sound system will make our rendition of The Wizard of Oz this Spring, one that they will always remember, in a positive way. We recently performed in our Black History Program using a poor quality sound system. It was a good experience for them, but having a comparable sound system would have been better. Overall, dramatic education is an important means of stimulating creativity in problem solving. It can challenge students' perceptions about their world and about themselves. Dramatic exploration can provide students with an outlet for emotions, thoughts, and dreams that they might not otherwise have means to express. A student can, if only for a few moments, become another, explore a new role, try out and experiment with various personal choices and solutions to very real problems-problems from their own life, or problems faced by characters in literature or historical figures. Be apart of this experience by helping me provide our students with a new PA Sound system, giving them a performance they will never forget!
