My auditory and visual learners have a print rich environment and everything needed for success, but I am finding, due to lack of resources, that my kinesthetic learners are not reaching their full potential. Something as simple as a good quality pencil can boost the confidence in our scholars immediately, and I am finding the lack of school supplies and the quality of school supplies received is enabling my students from reaching their maximum potential. A decent pencil or a clean whiteboard goes quite a ways when dealing with student engagement and responsiveness. The ability to touch and feel our way through Math word problems with manipulatives, such as unfix-cubes and cuisinaire rods, aids learners tremendously, so please donate to Mrs. Griffin's class, as we "Manipulate our way through Math".
