• Notebooks, Folders & Pencils, Oh My!

  Words cannot express how grateful my class and I are for you absolute kindness and generosity in helping to fund our project! You should have seen the smiles on the faces of my students and how their eyes lit up when they came in to school on the first day and saw all of the notebooks, folders and pencils that they can call their own and use all year to be successful in fourth grade !!

  My students have begun to use the notebooks for their journal writing where they are able to free write and be as expressive as they would like to be.

• Books, Books & More Books!

  It is with so much emotion that I thank you for your kindness and generosity. You have no idea how much your help toward funding this project has made the lives of my students greater!

  So many of my students have no access to books at home, so their only place to enjoy them is here at school. My class this year, has been so drawn to our class library and reading.

  They want to read all the time. They were begging for more books and now thanks to your help, I will be able to provide them with the books they are craving from Diary of a Wimpy Kid to Babysitter's club.

• Soft Seats for a Comfy Environment!

  Words can not express how grateful my class and I are for your very kind and generous donation to our comfy seat project. My students love to work in groups on the floor but it is cold and not comfortable. Now, thanks to you, they will have soft, comfy cushions to sit on and do their work. They love to pick their cool colored cushion and grab a clip board and get right to work. We have even used the cushions to lay on while we watched a movie and when we chill out for flashlight reading.

• Supples Needed for a Great September!

  Words can not express how grateful I am for your kindness and generosity. My students eyes lit up today when they saw all of the boxes of new school supplies coming into our room.

  They were so excited to get to use their brand new notebooks for journaling stories about their lives. The rest of the notebooks are being used for our daily math word problem practice.

  Having supplies that they can call their own and are brand new is one of the greatest feelings for my students. The glue and brand new crayons will be cherished as well.

  Thank you so much for you incredible kindness and generosity! You have no idea how much you are greatly appreciated. You have helped our class to get supplies that we would have been unable to get on our own.

  My students were so excited to get there own special notebooks for journal writing and math. They will use these everyday to express themselves. This also helps them to have a sense of responsibility and ownership.

  The Hershey kisses just make their faces light up when I tell them that they can kiss their brain!

• Essential Supplies to Start the Year off Right!

  Words can not express how much we appreciate your kindness and generosity. The supplies in this project will help us to stay healthy this school year. The tissues will help us with our sneezes and colds. The Lysol wipes will allow us to clean up all the germs from our desks, laptops and door handles to ensure that we don't get sick. Best of all we are so excited to have a delicious snack each day of fruit snacks to help us keep our bellies from growling!

• Extra Extra Read All About it in Scholastic News!

  Thank you so much for the incredible donation to our project for Scholastic Magazines! Your kindness and generosity has made me and all of my students smile:) We will now be able to read news articles that will teach us all about current events in the world around us. These magazines will allow us to read stories that are children friendly and educational. We will be able to read and answer questions. This will help us build our vocabulary and our comprehension skills. We will be able to take the magazines with us and share them with our families at home too.

• Let Our Work Shine in Color!

  YAY!!! This is all that I heard when I told me students that we were getting an amazing colored printer and ink from some amazing and special donors on Donors Choose. My students and I are thrilled. For so long, my students and I were only able to print things in black and white. Which is fine for most thing but sometimes they want to put a pop of color into a project or special book that they write.

  My students will now be able to do this. We all have smiles on our faces. This is a huge deal to us, you have no idea how truly happy we are thanks to you!”

• Raising Radical Readers!

  Words can not truly describe the impact that your donations to this project have had on my fabulous students. We are so excited to become radical readers. Unfortunately, many of my students have fallen behind in reading because of covid and the inability to attend school in person. My students lives will be forever changed because of your kindness and generosity.

  My students will be able to use these reading skills to help strengthen many of the reading skills such as vocabulary, author's purpose, main idea and overall comprehension.

  They were so excited to see new books in the classroom. Books that are on their level but also on topics that they enjoy.”

• Crayons, Markers and Pens Oh My!

  Your impact on my students is incredible. I work with an amazing group of students who are funny, talented, creative and eager to learn. Unfortunately, many of my students are at a disadvantage because they do not have access to the basic supplies needed each day in school.

  Thanks to you my students will now have everything they need to be successful in school. They are so excited about getting brand new markers and crayons so that they can draw pictures to add to the stories and put covers on the books that they write. My students now beam with pride and are happy to share their work.”
