My students benefit from practice using their spatial, visual, and kinesthetic/tactile learning styles, engaging their critical thinking abilities, and challenging themselves to find a variety of ways to solve problems. When they play brain teaser games, they are excited to solve problems and determined to derive solutions when they would be otherwise resistant to learning new mathematical concepts. As part of our math period, students work on a variety of brain teaser "warm-up" activities. Such activities prepare my students' minds to learning and applying a variety of mathematical concepts.
My students need to have practice challenging their spatial, memory like, ""Think Fun Shape", and logic skills,"Think Rush Hour", Circuit Maze", "Think Fun Rush Hour", These brain teaser games will become a part of our daily routine to enhance and promote critical thinking skills, a variety of learning styles, and social skill interactions while preparing students for mathematical learning.
By donating to our project, you will help my students engage in critical thinking activities enhancing their spatial, visual, and kinesthetic learning abilities.
Students will be able to work individually, in pairs, or in groups as they engage with these brain teaser activities. Working individually will help students to develop self-confidence in their abilities to solve problems. As students work in pairs or in groups to solve brain teasers, they will develop their teamwork skills and social skills as they learn to positively interact with one another. In today's society, the ability to work collaboratively with others is imperative to achieving academic and professional success. Thank you for considering our project!
