I have witnessed firsthand over and over again the power of music making in my elementary students’ lives. I have done my best with the resources that I have, but going into my fourth year I am now well aware of what my classroom really needs to provide a successful, vibrant, and well-rounded musical experience. I have chosen to fund with this project the acquisition of enough Remo Tubano hand drums and Orff Mallet instruments to ensure that every student in my classes can have access to a quality instrument and through this, an unforgettable musical experience that they can take with them for the rest of their lives. These quality instruments last for a long time with proper care and this project looks to make a serious and substantial investment in the music education of my students for generations to come! I cannot tell you how much I love my job getting to teach music to these amazing kids and I am hopeful that with your help I can take my teaching to the next level and make a lasting impact in their lives, maybe even inspiring the continuation of music studies beyond elementary school. Thank you so much for supporting and investing in my students!
