Funded Aug 31, 2020Thank you so much for making this project possible for my fantastic first grade students. Our initial plan was to have our telescope pointing to our window and have inspiring writing. Sadly, we never return to our classroom due to COVID-19. I was able to take an alternative I had an IPod installed in the telescope and students were able log in to see different places that I was focusing with my telescope and to help them with their writing. Students were very happy and enthusiastic. Thank you for your help funding our project.”

Projecting Our iPad Using An AppleTV
Funded Oct 17, 2018Thank you very much for your donation. After losing the majority of my games, materials, and furniture during hurricane Harvey it was such a blessing to get this project funded. As teachers we worry about so many things so not having to worry about having materials to teach my kids is priceless. My kids love the thematic boxes and they are so well organized and easy to use.
Right now my students are using the IPad and viewing everything in the projector, while doing projects step by step, interactive games and helping each other students are very excited.
Every day they making a difference in their learning.
Thank you so much for your support !”

After Hurricane Harvey, Rebuilding Excellence With Technology
Funded Sep 29, 2017The students in my class are ecstatic over the Ipad and the apple TV that were generously donated. They are loving apps and the wide variety of books they can read. My students that are reading Spanish books can't get over the selections and my students reading lower level books are happy they have books they can actually read. We are not having issues with students finding good fit books anymore. I have opened up the library to the students and we are overwhelmed with the number of books added. They are allowed to get books to read and take AR tests in the iPad. My students are getting the opportunity to learn about new authors, read lots of non-fiction books, and discover new series that they might not have know about before.
Anytime a classroom can have books donated its a wonderful thing. My class very much appreciates the generosity of each one of you. My students are exploring new places with each book they read. I love to see the look on their faces when they are reading in the iPad. Thank you!”
