I volunteered in my daughter's kindergarten classroom back in 1999, and I was HOOKED! Working with five and six year olds is my version of heaven on earth. I teach two half-day kindergarten sessions, and have had anywhere from 44-59 students in a given year. The legislature sets aside $175 for the entire school year. Children are being asked to do more than ever, and I do my best to make it academically effective AND fun. I keep up to date, and work hard to guarantee at least a year's worth of growth from every student. Most important, I love and respect each one.
