With 50 percent of my students below grade level in reading, I need to ensure centers times are effective and impactful by having meaningful fluency tools and resources as well as flexible seating. The centers literacy resources I am asking for will allow students to independently practice their reading fluency. The flexible seating desks will allow my diverse learners to focus on reading on the carpet. Lap desks will help them to complete reading journals and practice comprehension. These items are instrumental in ensuring my students make immense growth and reach grade-level standards by the end of the year. Without proper centers resources, essential learning time is lost.
