  • I'm Stuck on You!

    Funded Apr 29, 2025

Thank you for helping us reach our goal! My students will be so excited to see their incentives and be rewarded for all the great things they do. They love stickers, pencils, figits and feel so special when they receive them. I so appreciate your generostiy and commitment to helping my students.”

  • I Love Digital Art!

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my students! This color printer has allowed students to print their visual creations, artwork and grapic organizers. It enables students who are visual learners to easily differentiate between sections on a worksheet, made small group posters more graphically appealing and allows little learners who cannot yet read check the colorful pictures for remiders!

We use this printer daily and are so grateful for your help in getting this project funded. This is a gift that will be used by many students for many years to come!”

  • Learning Is Music To My Ears!

    Funded Aug 31, 2022

We love our wireless speakers!! Thank you so much for helping us meet our goal and get our project funded.

These speakers have been a great asset to me and my students! In the position I am currently in, I see many students of varying grade levels a day. I work with small groups of students who struggle in reading. We often use these speakers to listen closely to letter and vowel sounds. Watching and listening to videos of mouth movements with sound is an integral part of teaching phonics and helping struggling students to differentiate the basic sounds of the English language.

Having good speakers is important, as many sounds are similar. Having wireless speakers is even more important as I travel to different classrooms and being wireless leaves less time for set up and more time for learning!

I also use these speakers during calming time as well as recess/movement time. I love how different music can change the mood and tone in the classroom!

Thank you for helping me reach my goal and for caring about my students literacy!”

  • Read, Scribble, Snip!

    Funded Feb 19, 2021

My students have been loving these Diane Alber books! These are great sets of books for teaching students about friendship, acceptance, diversity kindness and feelings. My students are lacking social-emotional skills after being taught at home for over a year and not having adequate social interactions with peers. These books are a great way for them to learn about basic social rules and they have connected with Diane Alber's simple but cute Spot and Snippet and Scribble characters. They love having these books read to them and also love completing the associated projects that come with the books to increase their own emotional awareness.

Thank you for adding these books to our classroom library! My students love them!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Oliva

  • Please Don't Share the Crayons!

    Funded May 4, 2021

These resources were just what my students needed to help make in-person learning during a pandemic easier! Having individual boxes of crayons, scissors and large glue sticks helped keep covid protocols in place and put smiles on my students' and parents' faces. Parents and kids have been faced with many challenges the last year and a half and being able to provide my kids with enough individual supplies took a little of the worry away and made this an easier start to the school year!

Having extra kids' masks and individual bottles of hand sanitizer has been a huge relief. Kids often forget facemasks, drop them on the floor or sneeze in them, requiring multiple masks changes a day.

Thank you so much for helping my students come back to school safely!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Oliva

  • Help! I Need to Learn to Read!

    Funded Dec 30, 2020

Yay! Thank you so much for funding these leveled books for my students! Now that we are remote learning it is hard to get actual books in kids' hands. Due to covid, books that are sent home must be "quarantined" and sanitized before passing them to new students so many of our leveled take-home books are out of commission for a time. We have digital subscriptions to online books but nothing can take the place of a child holding an actual book in their hand.

My students were so excited to receive brand-new books to read! When they were given their new bags of books their eyes lit up with excitement! They were so proud that they had books at their reading level that they could read! Thank you for helping to get books in my student's hands and foster a love of reading!”

  • We Are Never Wrong When We Write!

    Funded Dec 18, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our writing project! Remote learning has brought on new challenges for students but something as simple as having dry erase markers at home to participate in phonics, writing and math activities shouldn't be one of them. These markers allowed all my students to engage in our lessons and allowed me to be able to see their work. I had previously shared all the dry erase markers that I purchased for my kiddos but we use them so often while remote learning they quickly became dried out. Kids would use pencils on paper but then I couldn't see their writing on the screen. Each student was able to get their own large box of dry erase markers to use at home and it solved our problem!

Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity! My kids love them!”

  • I Have the Need to Read!

    Funded Dec 9, 2020

Thank you so much for helping us meet our goal and get books in my kids' hands! These leveled books have been a huge help in getting my students interested in reading and they are perfect for them to take home and read to their families!

Research shows that the more students read books at their individual reading level the faster they can progress in their literacy development! My students love picking out their own books and having the opportunity to take them home and read them to their families.

Having high interest leveled books helps to build confidence in even the most at-risk readers! Thank you for helping my kids achieve their literacy goals and have fun doing it!”

  • Picture This: Our 1st Graders need a Document Camera!

    Funded Dec 4, 2020

Thank you so much for your generosity and support for my 1st graders! Having a document camera means more meaningful learning for my students and better progress and outcomes when it comes to them reaching their goals!

We use our document camera daily so my students can see how I form letters, build sentences and draw in real-time. I can show them proper pencil grips, cutting skills and model good printing to better help them improve fine motor skills.

On Fridays we do science and social studies and students love directed drawing! Without the document camera it would be impossible for students to follow along.

Thank you so much for this gift! My students and I use it daily and we couldn't do remote learning without it!”
