Sensory Fun for Our Classroom
Funded Aug 7, 2024Thank you for donating to my classroom and supporting our community. My students are enjoying the sensory toys immensely. I introduced the new toys over several weeks and the students have chosen their favorites of course.
The students most enjoy the magnet blocks right now. But a couple weeks ago, they all wanted to build structures with the stem straws. I have loved watching my students working together and sharing their ideas to build something. They are also getting breaks from working hard and building relationships with fellow classmates.
I appreciate the generosity you have shown. It is greatly appreciated.”

Bountiful Books and Wonderful Work Space
Funded Dec 14, 2023I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and kindness you have shown to our community and my classroom by giving to support our needs. We received our new books to read and learn specific literacy skills, a step stool for students to be able to reach all areas of the promethean board, and a desk that has electronic controls to sit or stand at various heights.
My students absolutely love to be read to and were so excited to see the new books. I am really looking forward to using the book Shark Lady next week as we learn more about nonfiction text. They love being able to reach the board when we are doing interactive lessons and being able to choose or write answers. I love the desk and having the option to stand or sit depending on the class or lesson and the students utilize it as well when I am working individually with one of them.
Your donations to support my classroom needs are very much appreciated.”

Engaging Readers!
Funded Aug 12, 2023My students were so excited to see the variety of new books I have been able and o add to our classroom. I loved seeing their enthusiasm as they view the choices and chose the book just right for them. One at their reading level and of high interest to them. My students love having reading time now. Owe have started a monthly Flashlight Friday as well to encourage a fun experience while working on independent reading skills.
I love the paired reading for teaching Fiction and Nonfiction.
Thank you so much for giving my students the opportunity to experience a variety of high interest books at their fingertips.”

Funded May 9, 2023I am so grateful to be able to start off the new school year with the many flexible seating options your donation helped to provide for my students. The kiddos loved the flower sit pillows, floor sit desks, and the balance balls. My students were very excited when they walked into our room. They have been trying different seating options out each day, finding what works best and is both comfortable and supportive in their learning. The sit desks are an absolute favorite. They enjoy being on the carpet and still being able to work and write. My students and I thank you for choosing our room for your generous donation.”

Funded Mar 22, 2023Thank you for your kindness and generosity in choosing to support my classroom. I was so happy to share the opening of our package with my students. They have not had the opportunity to record themselves read, and be able to listen to how they sounded. They were most excited to practice this feature using the mics that are attached to the headphones. It was a fun learning opportunity when they got to hear themselves. These headphones are durable and comfortable, having padded ear cushions- that don't fall off! You played a part in our learning that day with your donation. I appreciate your contribution so much.”

Engaging Readers
Funded Nov 29, 2022I am so thankful for your generosity and helping to support my students in their reading. I purchased several reading games with early literacy focus and comprehension cards. My students were so excited with the games.
We utilize the games in our small groups. These resources hold the children's interest and keep them motivated. The Splash games are a favorite. My students are able to practice and increase sight word fluency while enjoying themselves.
When kiddos are having fun while learning, they are staying focused. This aids in making connections and retaining information. Thank you for playing a part in helping to create this fun learning environment for my classroom.”

Classroom Community Rug
Funded Nov 5, 2022Thank you so much for the joy you brought to my students. Your donation purchased a bright, colorful, rainbow rug. They were so excited to get a rug for our room and we are utilizing it every day. Students have stretched out while completing some writing assignments, groups were able to play literacy games, and others have sat down for some free time reading. My students like to sit on it while we complete Literacy Warmups at the beginning of each each as well. The rug is used throughout the school day and is truly appreciated.”
