  • Take a Stand

    Funded Jun 7, 2024

Thank you for your generous donations! My students are so grateful to have an area where they can properly store their stands each day. This allows them to have more usable space in the room and it looks neat and tidy.

It is important that the students learn how to keep an orderly classroom environment and how to care for equipment that was bought for them to use. By learning these skills, the students have a place that serves as an example of what they can then do with other areas of their lives whether it be another classroom or in their personal space at home. Learning and practicing responsibility is an important part of being in the classroom and can be a vital part of their lives outside of the school environment.

Thank you for your support and giving so my students can have a better learning experience!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Zinn

  • Proper Seating for Good Learning

    Funded May 10, 2024

Thank you for your support and your generous donation! My students are so happy that they have a comfortable, proper seat to play their instruments and don't have to stack chairs and books to try to play each day.

Having this equipment will allow students safely and comfortably sit to play their instruments in class. They will be able to concentrate on learning, see the teacher and actively and effectively participate in learning each day.

Your support means the world to my students who thrive knowing that others outside of the school environment value what they do and believe that what they are learning is important. Thank you for donating!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Zinn

  • It's the Little Things

    Funded May 7, 2024

Thank you for your generosity and having a giving heart. By funding this project you have made it possible for my students to be prepared each day for whatever they need to play. Students no longer have concerns that they can't play well due to problems with the function of their instruments or how long they can tolerate discomfort from playing. They can focus on learning and playing each day.

My students were so excited and grateful when they first saw the supplies. They were eager to start using them and excitedly started talking about the music they would play. The sousaphones quickly placed the pads on their instruments and began playing and moving around. The percussion immediately heard the difference in the drum with the proper muffling. And the clarinet player is already talking about preparing auditions for state level. They now feel prepared to play any part that they would need to learn in the music for upcoming games, parades, concerts and festivals.”

  • Take a Seat

    Funded Jul 7, 2023

My students and I are so grateful for your donation! They enjoy being an active part of the class now. They were excited to see the stools when they arrived because they now can see to the front of the room and focus on the instructions and their music without having to stand the entire class period. I am now able to easily see and help my students during class. This will be the first time that they are not buried behind the instruments and loose focus during rehearsals/instructional time.

    Thank you for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

  • Making the Case for Music

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you for your donation! Having this case has made the care and safe transporting of percussion equipment possible. My students were thrilled to see that they now have a secure place for their equipment. They are so excited to be able to safely transport their instruments and mallets to the state required festival this year. It will be the first time that everything has a protected place and can be accessed easily by each student. The students take pride in caring for the instruments, mallets, and sticks and this makes that possible now and for many years to come. For myself and my students, we thank you for your generosity!”

  • Let's Play Together!

    Funded Nov 28, 2022

Thank you for your donation and support of my students. They were so excited to get such a large selection of pieces to play in the ensemble. The books make it possible for them to not only play a variety of music from different time periods, but gives them the chance to learn about new composers and historical events. They are having a blast learning new music and having fun playing together. They're even enjoying the history lessons. What you have provided through your donation is greatly appreciated by my students and myself. Thank you for your generosity!”

  • Stick With It

    Funded Apr 4, 2022

By funding this project you have made it possible for my students to be prepared each day for whatever instrument they need to play. Students no longer have concerns that one set of mallets or stick is being used by another student. They can focus on learning and playing each day.

My students were so excited and grateful when they first saw the mallets and sticks. They were eager to start using them and excitedly started talking about the music they would play. They now feel prepared to play any part that they would need to learn in the music for upcoming concerts and festivals.

I am looking forward to giving each of the students the opportunity to play various instruments throughout the year. Thank you for your kindness and generosity toward my students. We are grateful for you donations to the band program.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Zinn
