The cube chair will be used as an option for sitting during large group times. For some learners sitting crossed legged for 10-15 minutes can be challenging. The mini trampoline would be used when the class has some excess energy and needs an appropriate outlet. My hope is the use of the trampoline will help eliminate some of the running, jumping, and hands-on behavior currently in the classroom. Also, for my students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, jumping on the trampoline can provide great sensory input and be used for calming or energizing when needed.
