  • Time to Cash In!

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Thank you so much to all who helped me get the amazing items from Time to Cash In to help fill our class store! It has been so great to watch the kids choose how they spend their hard earned money! I have some who try to save for the big ticket items like the slinky bracelets and jaw breaker suckers. And then I have others that have an itch in the money bag and need to spend it right away on a piece of gum or writing with a pen for the day!

Thank you so much for your generosity and for being a part of our classroom village! You have helped me make my classroom a great place to learn and to feel loved!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wieland

  • Reading With Versatiles

    Funded Aug 18, 2024

I love math Versatiles! The books follow our standards so well. When we learn a new concept in class, like fractions, there are many lessons that the kids can do in our Versatile books. Once you have completed a page you know if you got your tiles right picture matches the picture in the book. They love to test their skills out. When I learned that Versatiles have a reading program I was so excited to get my hands on it! Thank you so much for helping me get this program for my students! In the reading books we can work on reading comprehension, vocabulary, sentence structure and more!

Thank you so much for all your help in getting me these books and Versatiles!”

  • A New Room That Is Out of This World!

    Funded May 6, 2024

Thank you so much to all who helped me get new gear for my new classroom! After being in the same classroom for 10 years my classroom decor didn't change that much. Our school changed hands over to the high school and we got to move into a brand new building. I realized very quickly that my old stuff did not need to go over to my new classroom. You have helped me get some amazing "Out of This World" decor! I am still in the process of getting it all up, moving schools did not happen until a few days before school started, so needless it was a stressful start to school!

Thank you so much for your help in making my classroom a special place to be!”

  • New School New Gear!

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

This project has been such an amazing thing for my school! You helped me get an EcoTank printer that does sublimation printing. I put special ink the printer and by using sublimation printer can take any image and put it on a shirt! I have been our schools t-shirt maker for the last few years using my Cricut and iron on vinyl. Although this has been so great, I have spent countless hours making these for my class and many other classes over the years. Sublimation printing takes me minutes. I am currently making shirts for our school with our new logo on it and it is for sure a game changer for me!

Thank you so much for helping me get this printer and paper for not just my class, but the entire school!”

  • Chair Buddy

    Funded Aug 19, 2024

Thank you so much for helping me get these chair pockets for my students! These are such a space saver and I love to have them in my classroom. We are in a brand new school and we have brand new tables a furniture in our rooms. I needed a good place for my students to be able to put their books, whiteboards, and folders where they don't have a desk to put those things. These pockets have been a great solution for kind a big problem in a classroom!

Thank you so much for helping get these for my students!”

  • Accelerated Reading Stars!

    Funded Apr 30, 2024

I can't even begin to thank you for this generous gift you have given our entire school! I personally love AR and I came to love it with my own children! I have 3 daughter who are all great readers, but when it is time to read for the love of reading none of them did. It was so frustrating as a parent, but I knew if they did AR in their classroom they would read! Their teachers gave them incentives to read and get points, so they read and a lot!

I have done the same in my own classroom and I love to watch my students read! What they don't know is that they are learning fluency skills. They are learning to read a book and comprehend the book to take a short quiz on it. Those are all skills that are on their state testing.

Thank you so much for helping our school get this amazing reading tool for our school!”

  • Magnetic Attraction!

    Funded Apr 15, 2024

Thank you so much for helping me get these amazing magnet tools for our science lesson that we are going to have this year. Last year I had some grandparents come to my class and run the best magnet centers that my students learned so many amazing things. When the year was over they named that day as one of their favorites.

I wanted to be able to do a magnet day every year and with these games, things to make magnetic slime, games, and more we will be able to have an incredible day.

Thanks so much for helping me make my class the best that I can!”

  • Poppin Out With Style!

    Funded Apr 30, 2024

Thank you so much for helping me make the end of the year amazing! You all helped me get some amazing treats for them to celebrate each day of the last week. We had popcorn treats one day as we watched a fun movie. After testing I really want the kids to know how much I love them, and celebrating with them that last week is such a great way to end our school year on a positive way.

We also were able to use the Sour Patch Twists for our 3rd grade walking field trip to my house where we played some fun field games, cooked hotdogs, and had a yummy treat.

Thank you for helping me make the last week of school amazing and one they will hopefully never forget!”

  • Shirts With Care Part 2

    Funded Jan 21, 2024

Thank you to all who helped us get these amazing things for our classroom! You have helped us get t-shirts to use for a couple of different things. Once a student in the 3rd grade makes it to their reading goal for the year they get a shirt that says Super Reader with a superman symbol. We also make all the 3rd graders a Choose Kind for our day of kindness.

You have also helped us get some good snacks for the most subject of the day, Snack! They love snack time and it is asked about from the moment lunch is over, even though its not for another 2 hours.

Thanks for helping me make my classroom the best that I can!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wieland

  • Filling in the Need!

    Funded Jan 9, 2024

Thank you so much for helping us get these amazing snacks, shirts, and bandaids for my students! I am not going to lie, snack time is one of the most important parts of our day, they ask me as soon as lunch is what snack is and when is it. I do it every day at the same time, after last recess, yet still they ask. I was worried that applesauce was going to be too healthy, but it has turned into one of their favorites! Thank you so much for helping us get some healthy cookies and applesauce for our snack time!

You also helped me get shirts to make for our entire 3rd grade. Every year we read the book Wonder. After we have read it we have a Choose Kind day and fill our day with kind acts, I make all the students a Choose Kind shirt.

Thank you for helping me create a class of goodness!”

I am a third grade teacher in rural South Eastern Idaho. There is a reservation next to our small town, and we enjoy a wide range of diversity with our Native American students and Hispanic students. Seventy percent of our students are on free and reduced lunches. With such a wide range of students it is so exciting to celebrate the culture our school has created. Each student has their own potential, and it is so exciting to help them reach their highest potential. I feel so lucky to be a part of their lives. What an incredible job to have!
